In the Fall of 2003, seven F-106s in storage at Davis-Monthan had their wings sawed off and were transported to the Goldwater Bombing Range at Gila Bend AAF AZ. Tail numbers were: (1) 57-2510 (2) 58-0903 (3) 58-0904 (4) 59-0065 (5) 59-0012 (6) 59-0115 (7) 59-0147. Below photos, provided by Ernest White II, were taken at Gila Bend AAF AZ in Jan 2004 while recovering components for the McChord Air Museum to add to their F-106 display 56-0459.
